It's time for us to tap one of the most unique stouts of the season.
Founders Canadian Breakfast Stout was released for just the second time in the last six years! CBS is the final beer in their annual Barrel-Aged Series. Thick, rich Imperial Stout brewed with chocolate and coffee, aged in barrels previously used for maple syrup. This is a slow sipping, strong, delicious beer. CRU will be pouring 8oz glasses beginning January 7th!

In 1902, Nicola Catena, an Italian immigrant, planted his first vineyard in Mendoza, Argentina and became one of the pioneers of fine Argentinian wine. To this day Bodegas Catena Zapata remains one of the few family owned wineries in Argentina.

We are tasting 3 Cru Beaujolais, not to be confused with the much hyped Beaujolais Nouveau.
Cru Beaujolais are the absolute best expression of the Gamay grape. Each of the 10 Crus has its own personality.

Di Lenardo Vineyards produces quality wines from its five large family owned vineyards situated in Ontagnano in the heart of the Friuli region.
The family has been cultivating wines since the 1800's and their wines are true Friulian gems. If you enjoy the wines from this region or if you never had wines from Friuli then you should not miss them. We will be pouring a Chardonnay, a Refosco and a Cab blend. All paired with an antipasti.

As usual the format is casual.
Guests can do the tasting at their table or at the bar.
A representative (importer or sometimes someone from the winery) will come to their table or to the bar and pour/explain the wine flight.
