Emilio Vada's winery is nestled among the picturesque vineyards of the softly rolling hills near Coazzolo, a small town that lies in an area that has been made part of the UNESCO heritage.
Emilio’s family has been winegrowers for four generations, and you find this experience and tradition present in their wines today. All made with respect for territory and heritage, with an underlying desire to continually experiment and improve. And, of course, employing sustainable winemaking practices.
Since 2012, when Emilio “took over”, they went from simply selling the fruit, to bottling their own wines. Moreover, they decided to revive the tradition of growing red grape varieties as well.
Because of the location, being just on the border of the two historical wine regions – Langhe and Monferrato – Emilio Vada produces Moscato d’Asti, Dolcetto d’Alba, Barbera d’Asti, and Langhe Nebbiolo.
